How to FInd Course Reserve Materials

If instructors have materials on Course Reserve for their classes, this information will be included in the class syllabus or explained in class.

The availability of Course Reserves may be checked in the ETSU Libraries' Online Catalog following these steps:

  1. Click on the Course Reserve Search tab.

  3. This takes you to the Course Reserve Search screen where you can search by Instructor or Course by selecting from drop-down lists.

    The search boxes will be filled in with your selection(s) automatically. When you have finished selecting your search criteria, click on the Search button.

  5. A list of titles that satisfy your search criteria will be displayed.

  7. Click on the title of an item to get more information about it. Reserve items may be available only in the library:

    or may be available online as E-Reserve items:

  9. An E-Reserve item will be either an Adobe Acrobat PDF file or a link to an online full-text document like an InfoTrac OneFile article. In either case, click on the E-Item link to retrieve and display the item.
