The Juvenile Book collection in the Sherrod Library is located in Room 353 on the third floor. It includes easy books, juvenile fiction, and juvenile nonfiction books. The collection supports classes in various academic departments.
State adopted K-12 textbooks are located in Room 409 of Warf-Pickel Hall (open Monday-Thursday, 9AM-4PM).
The loan period is two weeks for all patron categories; renewals are possible if there are no holds.
There are several reasons why a book is not on the shelf. Please report this to the Circulation Department so that they can search for it.
The materials in the Juvenile Book collection are used by different departments in different ways. For example, it would be impossible to follow trends in children's literature if the Sherrod Library did not have older, as well as newer, books.
All faculty, administrators and students at ETSU are encouraged to participate in building the library's book collection. Forms are available at the Reference desk or online. Book purchases are contingent on the availability of funds.
Children are welcome in this room; however, young children should not be left alone in the room for their own safety.
The hours are the same as those posted for the main library.
